Who the f*%# is Chlorine Beach??!!

Chlorine Beach is a Northwest Texas indie rock duo comprised of Jay Brandt (Vocals, Guitar, Bass) and Noah Thomas (Keys, Synth, Organ). With their sophomore independent album, Groove Forward, charting above artists such as Modest Mouse and Olivia Rodrigo on the NACC Top 200 within the first few weeks of release, the duo’s intimately raw, yet structured sound has left a unique example for self-released records promoted nationally.

The raw, reflective style the duo is best known for had helped them reach tens of thousands of people by mid-2025. From the results of the previous year, in the summer of 2026, the duo took to the streets of New York City where they held a physical ARG-style campaign over a single weekend for their August release, Groove Forward. Post-release the band is now gearing up to head on the road before they go back into the studio for next year.

Their latest album, Groove Forward, which released on August 14th 2026, is an interesting look into the potential of blending classic indie rock with modern personal ideas and elements. Sparking curiosity amongst fans online, the albums clean-yet-raunchy, introspective attitude makes this record distinctly fun.

The duo has been featured on hundreds of national independent and college radio stations including WXPN Philadelphia, WMNF Tampa, WIDR Kalamazoo and many more. Setting up plans for 2027, the band is expected to tour cities such as Denver, Oklahoma City, Austin, etc before releasing another studio album in the summertime in 2027.
